We continue in our Easter sermon series, Resurrection Stories, with stories of new life from the Bible and our own members. This week, we are pleased to have longtime NHLC member Mark Lofthus share his story of resurrection.

Pastor Steven Delzer is preaching on the post-resurrection story of the catch of fish and breakfast on the beach from John 21.The story has come full circle. The relationship between Peter and Jesus began several months earlier beside the sea, the boat, and nets nearby, with Jesus saying to Peter, “Follow me.” Then there is everything that happened in between. And now we’re back beside the sea, the boat, and nets nearby, with Jesus once again saying to Peter, “Follow me.” By the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, we can live this new life into which Jesus has invited us, knowing and trusting that love is the most powerful thing in the world.
