Nokomis Heights Youth Ministry is a radically inclusive neighborhood youth group centered on being yourself, building community, helping our neighbors and loving like Jesus.
We create spaces of belonging and inclusion for teenagers where they are seen, heard and empowered in their journey of faith. We strive to be an open and question-friendly group for students of all backgrounds and interests. El Ministerio Juvenil de Nokomis Heights es un grupo de jóvenes de barrio radicalmente inclusivos centrado en ser uno mismo, construir comunidad, ayudar a nuestros vecinos y amar como Jesús.
Creamos espacios de pertenencia e inclusión para adolescentes donde son vistos, escuchados y empoderados en su camino de la fe. Nos esforzamos por ser un grupo abierto y abierto a preguntas para estudiantes de todos los orígenes e intereses. Waffle Church is a fun youth group for students in 5th -12th grade featuring breakfast foods and faith conversations on Sundays before worship. After breakfast and a game, youth go into groups by age/stage for learning, discussion and prayer. No registration is required!
Note: Waffle Church will not meet on October 22, November 26, December 24 or December 31.

Waffle Church es un grupo juvenil divertido para estudiantes de 5º a 12º grado que ofrece desayunos y conversaciones sobre fe los domingos antes del culto. Después del desayuno y un juego, los jóvenes se dividen en grupos por edad/etapa para aprender, discutir y orar. ¡No es necesario registrarse!
Nota: Waffle Church no se reunirá el 22 de octubre, 26 de noviembre, 24 de diciembre o 31 de diciembre.

We are better together! Faith is a journey built on positive relationships, spiritual practices and a supportive community. Confirmation begins for NH youth in 6th grade and ends in the fall of their 10th grade year. We meet just once a month from Sept – May for a yummy lunch and faith lesson from a different speaker. In addition, we encourage students to come hangout at Waffle Church Sundays at 9am, get involved in service opportunities and attend a retreat or camp once a year (such as, Camp Wapo or WBC).

Comienza la confirmación para los jóvenes de NH en sexto grado y finaliza en el otoño de su décimo grado. Nos reunimos sólo una vez al mes, de septiembre a mayo, para disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo y una lección de fe de un orador diferente. Además, animamos a los estudiantes a pasar un rato en Waffle Church los domingos a las 9 a.m., participar en oportunidades de servicio y asistir a un retiro o campamento una vez al año (como Camp Wapo o WBC).
