In 2021 we welcomed more than 30 new members to Nokomis Heights, and we welcomed more last year! Our small church continues to grow as we seek new and creative ways to spread the love of our radically inclusive God in our community and in our world.
“Membership” can mean many things. At Nokomis Heights, it identifies those who have made a commitment to our congregation and our ministry. It means you can vote on church issues, and you’re encourage to share your time, talent and resources to help further the mission of Nokomis Heights. Members of Nokomis Heights are also part of our larger the church body: the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
Membership is NOT exclusive. It does not include a test or fee. There’s nothing you have to do or be. You do not need to be a member to participate in worship, communion, or any activities at Nokomis Heights. You are welcome to join us in worship, to volunteer, to attend education and social events, give financially, and call Nokomis Heights your home church without ever joining. Everyone is invited, and everyone is equal at Nokomis Heights.

En 2021 dimos la bienvenida a Nokomis Heights a más de 30 nuevos miembros, ¡y dimos la bienvenida a más el año pasado! Nuestra pequeña iglesia continúa creciendo a medida que buscamos formas nuevas y creativas de difundir el amor de nuestro Dios radicalmente inclusivo en nuestra comunidad y en nuestro mundo.
