Food insecurity–not knowing where your next meal is coming from–is a growing problem in our city and throughout the region, made even more serious by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nokomis Heights has a long history of helping feed the hungry, from our partnership with the food shelf at CES to serving meals at Our Saviour’s Shelter to making sure homebound residents receive a hot meal through Meals on Wheels. Now we are exploring another exciting project to help alleviate hunger in our community. Pastor Kris and Mark Lofthus fill us in on some of the details in the following video announcement.
