Well, it’s official.
Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church will NOT be worshipping tomorrow morning. We will resume worship next Sunday, but not in person. We will be meeting, instead, online. Forum and Sunday school are also cancelled.
While it was a difficult decision, the staff and leadership feel strongly it’s the right thing to do to protect the most vulnerable in our community—both members and neighbors. We want to do everything we can to make sure everyone stays healthy and safe.
Over the next week, watch for emails, phone messages, and/or Facebook posts letting you know how you can participate in online worship. Although we wish it didn’t have to be this way, this is an opportunity for us to rise to the challenge of being the body of Christ through these difficult times. We will discover together how to care for each other, help meet each other’s needs, and participate in vibrant worship via our computers, tablets, and smart phones.
We know this is a stressful time, full of anxieties and unknowns. Should you have any questions, concerns, or prayer requests, feel free to reach out to me.
Stay tuned and know; this, too, is in God’s capable hands.
