“This has been served often for Shelter Meals. It is sized to serve 40. Jan Blattie devised/multiplied this recipe.”
5 pounds hamburger
5 medium onions, chopped
5 10.75-ounce cans cream of mushroom soup
5 8-ounce cartons sour cream
5 boxes egg noodles
Brown hamburger and onions with salt and pepper to taste. Add soup and simmer 10 minutes. Add sour cream and bring to boiling point. DO NOT BOIL!

Cook egg noodles until al dente.

Serve stroganoff over egg noodles.

Serves 30-35.
This is easy and filling. Serve with colorful cooked vegetable, and slices of hearty bread.
