Hoċokata Ṫi [ho-cho-kah-tah-tee] has a 3,805-square-foot public exhibit, called Mdewakanton: Dwellers of the Spirit Lake. It provides visitors with a cultural experience that enhances their knowledge and understanding of the Mdewakanton Dakota people and their history. You can learn more about it at: https://shakopeedakota.org/culture/hocokatati/ .
This will be a great opportunity to expand your knowledge if you have attended one of the Sacred Sites tours, or to prime your learning if you plan to sign up for the Sacred Sites tour that will be available through Nokomis Heights later this spring!
