Sunday Worship/Pet Blessing at Pearl Park
September 12, 2021 / 10:00 am – 11:00 am CDT
We will worship at Pearl Park for the last time this season on Sunday, September 12. And because it’s our final park worship, we’re making it extra special! Besides bringing a lawn chair or blanket, bring along your pets and your work/school gear, because at worship we will bless animals, backpacks, and briefcases—and we’ll celebrate the beginning of new things at Nokomis Heights! Pastor Steve is preaching on the creation text from Genesis 1—and the worship will be critter friendly. Invite your neighbors—let’s have a party!
Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. We strongly encourage you to wear a mask even if you have been fully vaccinated, given the surge of Covid cases in the Twin Cities and the recommendation of the Minnesota Department of Health. You will be asked to sign in when you arrive. This is for contact tracing in the case of a Covid outbreak, so we ask everyone attending to leave their contact information. Worship will include congregational singing (everything will be printed in the bulletin), and we will be serving coffee and donuts after!
Find us near the Pearl Park tennis courts on the corner of Portland and Diamond Lake Road at 10:00 am, weather permitting.
