Sunday Worship: Lent 5

Join us for worship in our sanctuary! As we draw closer to Holy Week, we are nearing the end of our Lenten worship focus on “turning.” The gospel reading for the fifth Sunday in Lent is John 19:1-16—where in the eyes of the world Jesus turns from hero to criminal, crowned with thorns and led away to be crucified. Pastor Kristen Capel is preaching this Sunday, reflecting on how we use our power in “thorny” circumstances. We will be celebrating Holy Communion during worship.

Even though the mask mandate has been lifted in Minneapolis, we are still asking everyone over the age of 2 to wear a mask to protect unvaccinated children and other vulnerable populations. KN95 masks are available for those who don’t have them.
