Sunday Worship: Epiphany 1
January 8, 2023 / 10:00 am – 11:00 am CST
Join us as we begin a seven-week worship series for the season of Epiphany, Salt and Light.
It’s a new year, and we enter a new Gospel. The Gospel of Matthew is filled with images of the kingdom of heaven, parables that make our head spin, and a strong call to discipleship. It is Matthew’s Gospel that reminds us that as followers of Jesus, we are to be “Salt and Light” to the world. In this season of Epiphany, when Minnesota is still dark and cold—and our roads and cars are covered in salt—we are invited to come close to Jesus and discover again what it means that we are called to be “Salt and Light” to a world in need.
Worship takes place at 10:00 am in the sanctuary. Mask wearing is now optional within the church building, including during worship. You are invited to mask or not mask, depending on your level of comfort. Please follow the latest CDC guidance if you recently have had COVID.
Not comfortable or unable to worship in person? Don’t worry! You’re invited to join us for worship online premiering at 10:00 am on our YouTube channel and Facebook page
