Sunday Worship: Easter 5

Join us for worship as we continue our theme for the season of Easter: Terms of Resurrection. Pastor Kristen Capel is preaching this week, on the story of the raising of Tabitha from Acts 9:36-43.

It would be easy to focus on God’s resurrection of Tabitha and miss the rest of the story of Tabitha’s life as a disciple (the only woman named in scripture in this way), whose love, care, and generosity for the community was transformational and healing and restoring. Tabitha’s story reminds us of the ways in which God’s resurrection story is present and healing and loving and moving in our lives, in our world. Where is resurrection happening in your own life?

Again this week—and all the Sundays in the season of Easter—we will celebrate Holy Communion.
