Sunday Worship: Easter 3

Join us for worship in this season of Easter! Pastor Kris is on vacation this week; Pastor Steve will be leading worship and preaching. We’re continuing with our worship theme, Terms of Resurrection. Again this week—and all the Sundays in the season of Easter—we will celebrate Holy Communion. Sunday school classes will resume on Sunday, but there is no Adult Forum speaker this week.

This Sunday’s text is the story of Jesus’ ascension into heaven from Acts 1:6-14. In it, the followers of Jesus found themselves in one of those “In-Between Times.” What sustained them was being together, prayer, and holding for one another the vision that they would be the ones to share with the world the message of God’s love and forgiveness. 

We are still asking everyone over the age of 2 to wear a mask to protect unvaccinated children and other vulnerable populations. KN95 masks are available for those who don’t have them.
