Sunday Worship: All Saints Sunday

This Sunday is our annual All Saints observance—and the second installment in this year’s generosity emphasis— “Mi Casa Es Su Casa” — “My House Is Your House.” On Sunday, we will be focusing on being a house for all saints—forgiven sinners, redeemed by the love and grace of God. Pastor Kristen Capel is preaching this week, with special guest Alana Siebenaler-Ransom.

As is our tradition at Nokomis Heights, as part of worship on All Saints Sunday, we will remember those who are newly baptized and those who have died in the past year. Additionally, as in past years, we have set out a memorial book for people to write in the names of deceased loved ones. The names of those saints will also be read in worship.

We have also returned to worshiping in the sanctuary. Mask wearing is now optional within the church building, including during worship. You are invited to mask or not mask, depending on your level of comfort. Please follow the latest CDC guidance if you recently have had COVID.
