Sunday Worship on the Lawn

This Sunday starts our fall schedule, with a seven-week worship series based on the narrative lectionary, titled Remember. The readings selected for the narrative lectionary this fall invite all sorts of remembering—on God’s part, on the part of God’s chosen people, and on those they imagined would some day encounter their stories.

Join us for worship as we examine the story of the great flood from Genesis and celebrate that God did not forget Noah and his family—God remembered. Pastor Kristen Capel is preaching this week, and we will be remembering and celebrating the work of former Youth Director Amy Snetting, with a blessing in worship and a reception with cake following!

We will gather in-person for worship at 10:00 am on the front lawn. Sunday morning’s forecast is for cool temperatures, so dress accordingly! Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. In the case of rain, we will meet for worship in the sanctuary. As COVID is still with us, we are still asking everyone over the age of 2 to wear a mask inside the church building to protect unvaccinated children and other vulnerable populations.
