Sunday Worship

September 17, 2023 / 10:00 am 11:00 am CDT

Our fall worship series, I’ve Been Meaning to Ask…., continues this Sunday and you are invited to join us for a spirit-filled morning of learning, worship, and celebration, as we connect with one another. Worship this week includes a special celebration of Holy Communion, with bread from a variety of places and cultures! And following worship, everyone is invited downstairs for a Venezuelan meal provided by the Navarro family.

One of our congregation’s initiatives for the next several years is “Fostering Connections.” To help us build connections with one another, from now until Advent, we will be focusing worship, Sunday school, youth group, and Adult Forum around one central question each week. You are invited to join us as we listen deeply to scripture, to one another, to members of our community, and to the world around us! Pastor Kristen and Yesenia Morales Bahena are preaching together this week. They’re centering their sermon on the story of manna in the wilderness and God’s provision for us. They will also be addressing this week’s question, “What is your favorite food?” You might be surprised by their answers!

For those who worship with us online, we’ll be recording worship live on Sunday, and the video will be posted later. Find it on our YouTube channel and Facebook page by Sunday evening or Monday morning.
