Depending on the weather, Nokomis Heights will gather in person for worship on Sunday, 9/27, at 10am at Pearl Park, Portland Ave. and E. Diamond Lake Road, Minneapolis! Look for our setup west of the basketball courts by the rec center. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

For those who are not able to attend, a recorded worship service will also be posted on Facebook and YouTube.

This special worship will include the installation of Pastor Kristen Capel as our Lead Pastor. Bishop Ann Svennungsen from the Minneapolis Area Synod of the ELCA will officiate at the installation. In addition, Pastor Kelly Chatman is preaching at this special worship, and Holy Communion will be celebrated.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at the park will be limited to 100 people, and safety measures such as wearing masks and social distancing will be in place. In order to accommodate these safety protocols, those planning to attend are asked to register. Click on this link to sign up!
