Online Sunday Forum: Lenten Vocation Series, with Autumn Lubin
March 14, 2021 / 11:00 am – 12:00 pm CDT
Join us on ZOOM for our series of Sunday Forums on topics of interest to our members and the broader community. During Lent we feature our own members talking about their vocations and the role that faith plays in their lives. This week we welcome one of our newest members, Autumn Lubin.
Autumn is a talented writer of inspirational materials, including 13 years of Advent devotionals. You may recall that Autumn was the author of our Rise Up! Advent devotional this past December! In addition to being an author, she is the CEO and Chief Enthusiast of Yellow Wood Pathways (www.yellowwoodpathways.com), a consulting firm specializing in training, curriculum development, and technical assistance to non-profits and the lending and housing industries. Her recent work includes a series of anti-racism workshops and an online self-care bootcamp. She has developed and delivered more than 30 housing course curricula, including several professional certification courses, as well as many online training offerings.
Autumn brings 35 years of business experience to her work. Some of the organizations she works with include NeighborWorks America, Minnesota Homeownership Center, Empire Justice, Minnesota Housing Finance Agency and several housing finance agencies, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Mortgage Associations, MN Department of Commerce and Don’t Borrow Trouble. Prior to consulting, she was with the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) for 14 years, managing its loan portfolio. She also worked for two national mortgage companies. She is a past president of the Minnesota Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Association and a recipient of Kenneth Jones Excellence in Training Award from NeighborWorks America® as well as the Excellence in Affordable Housing Initiatives for Emerging Markets Award.
She stays humbled and inspired by the amazing people she meets through her work, her soul companion husband, the six kids God gifted her with, the inquisitiveness of 13 grandkids, and the pure eyes of four greats. Exploring the unknown and continually learning and loving the questions is her approach to life. And always, gratitude is everything.
Forum begins at 11:00 am and will wrap up around noon. We hope you will join us!
