NHLC Book Club at MIA

Join the NHLC Book Club at MIA (Minneapolis Institute of Art), 2400 Third Ave S, for an “Inspired by Books” tour. We will join a MIA tour guide at 6:30 pm, who will guide us through the interplay of MIA art works with themes from our May book selection, The Seed Keeper, by Diane Wilson.

The Seed Keeper weaves the complex story of Rosalie Iron Wing and her search for connection to her family, her people, and the land. In the novel, Wilson offers finely wrought descriptions of the natural world, as the voice of the Dakota people’s seeds provides connective threads to the stories of Rosalie’s people. 

Everyone is invited to attend! Plan to gather at MIA at 6:15 pm, OR if you want to carpool, please be at church by 5:45.
