In-Person Worship at Pearl Park

Join us this Sunday at 10:00 am at Pearl Park (Diamond Lake Road & Portland Ave, Minneapolis), weather permitting, for in-person worship! We’ll gather in the area south of the tennis courts and west of the recreation center (just a short walk from the parking lot). Pastor Kristen Capel is preaching this week, as we continue our Summer of Love worship series. This week’s theme is, “Imitators of Christ,” and the scripture text is from 1 Corinthians 11:1-16. Kim Bretheim, Annika Coyle, Kimberly Kokx, and Emma Lofthus will be providing music for the worship at the park.

Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. We will be social distancing by family. Masks are optional—you may choose to wear one, if you wish. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. Remember, not everyone may be fully vaccinated, including children under 12.

You don’t need to sign up to attend, but you will be asked to sign in when you arrive. This is for contact tracing in the case of a Covid outbreak, so we ask everyone attending to sign in. We’ll also have nametags so we can reacquaint ourselves after this long year apart! Worship will include congregational singing (everything will be printed in the bulletin), and we will be serving coffee and donuts after!
