Frontyard Forum: Increasingly Generous

Adult Forum returns! Join us each Sunday before worship on the front lawn for an hour of discussion on topics of interest to the congregation and the community. Through October 24, Adult Forum will focus on the new core values the church council has been at work developing over the past several months—five values that we feel ground our work as a church as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our neighborhood and around the world. Come along as we look at how Nokomis Heights is already living out these core values in our community through some of our new ministry initiatives.

This week’s theme is “Increasingly Generous.” One of the goals from our Opening Door Generosity Initiative is for Nokomis Heights to be more and more generous with the dollars that go out our doors and into the community, with a commitment to tithe 10% of every dollar received. This morning’s forum will be led by the Generosity Team, engaging all of us in how we decide where these dollars are distributed.

Adult Forum begins at 9:00. Please bring a lawn chair—and your own coffee, if you wish. We will meet outside on the front lawn as weather permits. When the weather gets too cold or if it is raining, we will move inside with masks on.
