Frontyard Forum: Creativity

Adult Forum returns! Join us each Sunday before worship on the front lawn for an hour of discussion on topics of interest to the congregation and the community. Through October 24, Adult Forum will focus on the new core values the church council has been at work developing over the past several months—five values that we feel ground our work as a church as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our neighborhood and around the world. Come along as we look at how Nokomis Heights is already living out these core values in our community through some of our new ministry initiatives.

This week’s theme is “Creativity.” Our forum speaker is Dr. Kimberly Kokx, one of our new children’s ministry directors. Kim will share her experiences directing children’s theatre and living in the creative world, and help us discover how we are all co-creators with God, whether we realize it or not!

Adult Forum begins at 9:00. Please bring a lawn chair—and your own coffee, if you wish. We will meet outside on the front lawn as weather permits. When the weather gets too cold or if it is raining, we will move inside with masks on.
