Adult Forum: Water To Thrive, with Ed Scharlau

Join us each Sunday before worship for 45 minutes of discussion on topics of interest to the congregation and the community. This Sunday, we welcome Ed Scharlau, co-founder and treasurer of Water To Thrive, a non-profit based in Austin, Texas, that works to bring clean, safe water to those who need it in rural Africa. Nokomis Heights has established several wells in Ethiopia through Water To Thrive. Ed will give us a report on the maturation of the organization including the development of a Foundation, and update us on the “ethnic unrest”/genocide in Tigray—the northernmost state of Ethiopia where most of our NHLC water projects are located.
