Adult Forum: Rachel Dyrud, Eviction Defense & Expungement in Combatting Homelessness

We are pleased to welcome NHLC member Rachel Dyrud to Adult Forum this Sunday. Rachel is an attorney serving as a senior counsel at Wells Fargo. She has volunteered with Volunteer Lawyers Network providing eviction defense advice for those making an initial appearance in Hennepin County housing court. With the sunsetting of the eviction moratorium that was in place during the pandemic, there has been a steep rise in the number of evictions. Rachel will address the work she does on behalf of those facing eviction and what options are available in the legal system to help battle homelessness.
