Adult Forum: God and Country? Samuel v. Saul, with Johan Christopherson

Join us each Sunday before worship for 45 minutes of discussion on topics of interest to the congregation and the community. This Sunday, we welcome NHLC member Johan Christopherson, speaking on the topic “God and Country? Samuel vs. Saul in 1 Samuel.”
Johan Christopherson, Ph.D, is an Instructor in English at Normandale Community College, teaching primarily composition and literature courses. The forum will explore questions vital for both the ancient Israelites and for us today about what sort of relationship people of faith have with their government.
The forum will take place in Fellowship Hall. Please wear a mask.
