Adult Forum: Cross-Cultural Advent & Christmas Celebrations

Join us before worship for a special cross-cultural forum on Advent and Christmas symbols and celebrations from Northern European and Latin American traditions. Intern Yesenia will talk about Mexican traditions, Genesis Navarro will share how her family celebrated in Venezuela, and Cindy Nelson will talk about Advent celebrations that have come from Germany and Scandinavia. The forum will include background on the seasons, some show and tell, lots of pictures, and will be presented in both English and Spanish. There is no Sunday school this Sunday, but given its format, the forum will be kid-friendly, so bring your whole family!

Forum meets in Fellowship Hall. And we’ll have treats!
