Adult Forum: Craig Freeman, Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative
March 6, 2022 / 9:00 am – 9:45 am CST
Join us each Sunday before worship for 45 minutes of discussion on topics of interest to the congregation and the community. This Sunday, we welcome Craig Freeman, Community Connection Manager for Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, a collaboration of more than 100 congregations united in the vision that all people have a home. Beacon works to develop affordable, supportive housing, shelter families, and impact the policies that allow homelessness to exist.
Craig Freeman received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Iowa and has 15 years of experience as a public speaker. He left a decade-long career as a litigator to join Beacon because he felt the work to eliminate homelessness was too important not to support with everything he had. As Community Connection Manager, he works with congregations, civic organizations, and businesses, to increase Beacon’s capacity to provide homes for those who need them.
