Adult Forum: Christian Engagement in the Public Sphere—A Lutheran Perspective, with Russell Kleckley
November 14, 2021 / 9:00 am – 9:45 am CST
Join us each Sunday before worship for 45 minutes of discussion on topics of interest to the congregation and the community. This Sunday, we welcome Dr. Russell Kleckley, Professor Emeritus of Religion at Augsburg University and Nokomis Heights member. Russell is planning a lively discussion on “Christian Engagement in the Public Sphere: A Lutheran Perspective.”
Russell Kleckley received his bachelor’s degree from Newberry College, his M.Div. from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, and his Doctorate of Theology degree from the University of Munich. He is retiring from Augsburg at the end of the term and will be returning to his home in South Carolina, so this will be our last chance to engage with him at forum. You don’t want to miss it!
The forum will take place in the sanctuary. Please wear a mask.
