“Simple and good.”
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
3/4 cup celery, chopped
1 can chicken rice soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1-1/2 soup cans water
Salt and pepper to taste
Soy sauce, very little

1 8-ounce package chow mein noodles
Cashews

Mix together all ingredients, except for the cashews and chow mein noodles.

Bake at 350° for 1 hour, uncovered. The last 15 minutes of baking mix in chow mein noodles and add cashew nuts on top.
Serves 10.
