Sunday Worship: Lent 2

It’s the second Sunday in Lent and we’re continuing our worship series based on the Gospel of John, titled “Turning.” This week’s text is John 13:1-17—Jesus washes the disciples feet—the Master turns servant. Pastor Kristen Capel is preaching.

Because in the text Jesus washes the feet of the disciples, Pastor Kris has spent a lot of time this week thinking about the importance of feet! In this intimate act of footwashing, Jesus assures the disciples that they are beloved and invites them to live from that belovedness. We are given that invitation too.

Even though the mask mandate has been lifted in Minneapolis, we are still asking everyone over the age of 2 to wear a mask to protect unvaccinated children and other vulnerable populations. KN95 masks are available for those who don’t have them.
