Sunday Worship: Epiphany 8

February 27, 2022 / 10:00 am 11:00 am CST

We’re back to in-person worship. Please join us in our sanctuary at 10:00 am. It’s the last Sunday after Epiphany, and we are finishing up our worship theme for the season, “Come and See,” based on the Gospel of John. This week, Pastor Steven Delzer is preaching on the text from John 9:1-41, the story of Jesus healing the blind man with spit and dust—truly a “come and see” story! Like the blind man, too often we are spiritually blindfolded, unable to see Christ at work in our world. We need to trust Jesus to open our eyes too.

This Sunday is the last before Lent begins, and during a special children’s message, we will bury our most jubilant word—Alleluia!—putting it away until the joy of Easter comes.

We ask that everyone over the age of 2 wear a mask to protect unvaccinated children and other vulnerable populations. KN95 masks are available for those who don’t have them. Social distancing is encouraged, and we ask you to sign in, for contact tracing. Color-coded nametags will help others know your level of comfort engaging with others.
