Nokomis Builds in July
Can you believe Nokomis Builds is now in our 12th year? We have been graced with the opportunity to provide this important ministry with our partner churches to make a truly impactful difference in our community and provide homeownership to 11 families (and counting)! Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point!

Nokomis Builds is a group of area churches (Bethel Lutheran and Our Lady of Peace and St. Richard’s Catholic congregations), working under the Thrivent Builds banner with Habitat for Humanity. This year we will jointly provide volunteers for a week of con-struction in north Minneapolis.

When: Mon-Fri, July 23-27
Where: 3015 Thomas Ave N, Minneapolis

As in previous years, the quality of our work and consistency of our volunteers has been recognized, and we are being asked to work on a newer environmentally friendly and energy-sustainable construction plan.

We need:
• workers of all skill levels, age 16 and up
• 2-3 lunch providers for Tuesday, July 24
• financial supporters for the $1500 annual pledge to Nokomis Builds

The jobsite volunteer max is 13 per day. We ask you to sign up ASAP at the display in the Courtyard to ensure that all who want to volunteer can. Let’s fill the volunteer positions by Memorial Day!
