Midweek Lenten Worships Conclude 3/21
Join us on Wednesday evening at 7:00 for our final midweek worship during Lent. We are working our way through the book, "Gifts of the Dark Wood," by Eric Elnes. This week is Chapter 6, "The Gift of Temptation." Eric Elnes is pastor at Countryside Community Church (UCC) in Omaha, NE, and has his doctorate from Princeton University. The book was born of his experiences, both personal and pastoral, wrestling with tough times in the parish and with tough passages in scripture. He writes about things we traditionally have considered challenges to faith through a lens of hope, encouragement, and honesty.

Worship includes excerpts from the book alongside scripture readings, and is accessible to those who have not had time to read, as well as those who drop in. Our liturgical setting for Lenten worship will be the evening prayer from David Cherwien's "Stay with Us, Lord."

Come for our weekly Lenten soup suppers at 6:00 p.m. and stay for worship at 7:00! (Posted: 03/16/2018)
