Wapo Hackers & Whackers Golf Scramble
Wapo’s 16th Annual Hackers & Whackers Golf Scramble is Monday, July 16, at the Amery Golf Club in Amery, Wisconsin. Cost of $100 per person covers 18 holes, cart, lunch and dinner, and string aid. Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m., with lunch following. Shotgun start is at 2:30 p.m. and the event concludes with dinner 5:00 p.m. The Golf Scramble is Wapo’s main avenue for raising much-needed funds for camp scholarships for kids who need them. Last year Wapo gave out more than $140,000 in scholarships. Feel good about your play—no matter your score. Take joy in knowing you are doing good while you make a round with friends: a foursome covers one full campership! For more information, contact Heather Eggert,, 715-268-8434.
